Well, after not having anything to post for Meme Monday last week, I now have so many that I’m saving a few for next week. Thanks for thinking of me, everyone! 
I received this award from Summer at Summer’s Nook – I am so honored to be included in her list of ‘Wonderful’ women of the web. Thank you, Summer! I’d like to pass it along to a few who weren’t already on her list – Michelle, Corey, Dawn, Karen, Thea, Melanie, Jordan, Sarah, Tara, Debbie, and Karen.
I was tagged by both Tara at Tara’s View of the World and Amanda for another 7 things about me. Since I’ve done this one several times already (you don’t really want to know all that much more about me, right?), I’m going to change it up a bit to do something that I’ve seen on a couple of other sites. I’m going to tweak it to tell you 7 things about my significant other – Ron. Hi honey!
So here are the rules:

3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
- Ron loves puzzles and number games. He also can solve the Rubik’s cube (in fact he’s playing with the one that he got Abby for her birthday as I write this) – not only the standard 9×9 version, but also a 16×16 and even a 25×25 one.
- He is an experienced and talented graphic/web designer (see my and Kristi‘s new headers – he did an awesome job!), but without a degree he could never get a decent job. He currently works as a cable installer – yes, I’m married to the “Cable Guy”, LOL.
- Since he started this job in October of 2006, he’s lost a bunch of weight (not being stuck behind a desk all day definitely has its benefits), even though he eats pretty much only fast food for lunch every day.
- He is THE pickiest eater that I know – even pickier than the kids in a lot of ways. He’s a texture eater and also doesn’t like certain spices, even if mixed in with others. He’s your very basic ‘meat and potatoes’ guy, which makes finding more than 3 or 4 dinners that all of us can eat extremely difficult.
- Ron does not seem to feel the cold. He routinely wears shorts around the house in the winter, and wears short sleeves year-round. And (yes, Karen this one is for you!
) he is usually shirtless if he’s just hanging around at home. However, he is very nice to snuggle up to on a cold night – it’s like sleeping next to a furnace. - He’s not into that many sports (mainly just football and baseball), but he is very, very much an NFL fan. He’s run his own football game picking league for 20 years now (no money involved, just for fun).
- I am Ron’s second wife. He was married for a couple of years when he was much younger but they didn’t have any kids together.

Ron and my DH would get along great. LOL
Here all this time I thought my DH was the pickiest eater in the world.. he has his 4 or 5 main meals and that is about it and is very much a meat and potatos guy. He also wears shorts in the house year round and as soon as it starts to warm up the littlest bit he wears them outside also.. Like yesterday it was in the mid 50′s and he was wearing shorts out to a ball game.. DH likes his sports though.. but mostly just baseball, basketball and football, and now softball since Princess plays.

My hubby is also very talented at graphic art and web design. But, like Ron, he doesn’t have a degree- so no one will give him the chance to prove what he can do.

It must be a little difficult to cook for him. Do you make separate dishes just for him or just adjust all your cooking?

I got a kick out of the picky eater one… all of my boys are the same way! They will alternate between PBJ, Grilled Cheese and Scrambled Eggs for dinner – no joke! Thanks for the insight on Ron… it’s fun hearing about the men in our lives!!

Wow! I have a hot hubby who wears shorts all winter too. I can never understand it since I am always cold. Happy MM!!

Congratulations on the awards. I enjoyed larning more about you from the two memes. I’ve been trying to come up with a six word memoir for a while, but haven’t had any success yet.
