The snow is gone, the sky is blue, and I sat outside on my front porch Sunday afternoon and listened to a world full of spring again.
The girls were outside almost non-stop over the weekend (except for Saturday afternoon at the world’s best Webkinz birthday party). My mom and brother were visiting for the weekend, and we all had fun playing outside with the girls. They scootered…
They climbed (or tried to)…
(Thank you, Uncle Donnie!
)
They kicked the soccer balls around…
And we took our first trip of the year to the park. Becca is old enough now to really have a lot of fun there along with her sisters. She loves to slide, whether with Abby and Hannah:
Or by herself.
And didn’t have any trouble figuring out how to get up to the top.
However, she did seem to still be a bit unnerved by the fact that she could see the ground through the platforms, so wanted me to hold her hand all the way up.
The biggest attraction of the day by far was the merry-go-round. All 3 girls loved having Uncle Donnie spin it, and Hannah enjoyed helping him.
I am so glad to not have to push more than one child on the swings anymore!
It’s fun having a cool uncle to hang around with. He can do things like carry you on his shoulders…
Push the merry-go-round – and jump on for a quick ride as well…
Pitch to you…
Pull you in the wagon…
And help you reach up high.
He’s also fun to share a snack with!
We don’t see Uncle Donnie as much as we would like (he lives on the other side of the state), but the girls always have so much fun when he is here. He’ll make an awesome dad someday if he ever decides to give up the single life.

Looks like fun! It is still a little chilly here, although we have gotten out the bike a couple of times.

I used to love climbing trees as a kid. Unfortunately, one time I got stuck it the tree (I was about 3) and my mom was very pregnant. Thankfully my cousins lived across the street and they were able to come rescue me. Or so I am told by my mother. Personally, I don’t believe I would do something as crazy as that!
Looks like you all had a great time!

Becca looks like a little girl in these pictures with her pulled back…so cute! She actually left it in the whole time? Donny must have been exhausted by the time his visit was over.
