Ok, so earlier I posted some pictures of our day at the park with my friend Mary and her kids. We managed to fill over 3 hours at this park – in part because we had several different activities to direct the kids to as they got tired of each one. When the girls and I had stopped at Target on our way down, I picked up 5 of the little bubble tumblers, thinking that it might be a good way to keep all 5 kids busy for a while.
Yep, I was right. And I’ll keep that in mind for future reference as well!
The kids loved blowing bubbles – even the ‘big’ kids, Matthew and Abby:
I have not one picture of Hannah and Emma blowing bubbles. Not because they didn’t – but because they did not stop moving long enough for me to chase them down and take any pictures. Those two little girls were busy!
Well, I’ll make up for that with just a few of the 5,403 pictures I took of Becca. She is so darn funny – she’s just recently figured out this whole bubble blowing thing. I mean, she knew that you had to hold the wand up and blow, but she just realized the other day that you have to actually blow into the wand itself. She was so proud of herself every time she produced even a single bubble.
You’ll notice that the allure of the slides didn’t completely get overwhelmed by the bubbles though. She started off at the bottom of the stairs…
Then moved up onto the step…
Then onto the stairs…
Then onto the bridge…
And eventually dropped her bubble tumbler and wand off of the bridge all together to run off and go play.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures of her bubble-blowing:
Next to come – hungry geese and kids with bread. What a fun combination!

I wondered what Matthew did with all those little kids all day.
Did you ever think of switching your blog name to “The Adventures of Becca and Her Sisters?” I love her smile in the last one. She is just so animated in everything she does.

Very funny.
Matthew also had his DS with him – he spent a lot of time on it at the park, along with blowing bubbles and feeding geese.

I stumbled on your blog today and just had to tell you that your little Becca reminds me so much of my Max. He’s two, also…and they both have those same adorable chubby cheeks! SO, so cute! She looks like she’s having a ball with those bubbles!
Oh your boys are sooo cute! I love the beach pictures you posted!

I love bubbles just as much as the kids do!! Hailey hasn’t quite figured out how to blow bubbles herself yet, so I guess that’s still a few months away since Becca is a bit older than her.
I love those adorable pigtails Becca has!!

Bubbles are the best, aren’t they?? Cute photos! We love bubbles over here too. The only problem is, the Beans still don’t know how to blow the bubbles themselves, so I’m left blowing bubbles endlessly until I’m dizzy!
