It’s Friday again! My favorite day of the week. 
Here’s my question for this week – sorry it’s a bit late…
When is the last time that you bought a pair of shoes – for yourself?
Sadly enough, my answer that question is around 2 or 3 years ago. At least, until today. I realized that I needed a good pair of slip-on, comfy – yet cute shoes now that it’s getting too cold out to wear sandals every day. My gym shoes (about 5 years old) are a pain to lace up and tie for each of the 239 times I put my shoes on and off during the day, and the shoes I used to wear for work are not that comfortable or cute. Not to mention that the pair I wore most often, I threw out at the end of last winter – they were too small and way too stretched out. And old.
Oh yes, and then there’s the pair of slip-on tennis shoes (cheap ones I took the laces out of) I got when I was pregnant with Becca and kept wearing afterwards – those are the ones that Snuggly peed on when she was in heat last spring, so they got tossed too. Yuck!
Buying shoes for the girls has always been more of a priority, but today I decided that I had to go ahead and get myself at least one pair of decent shoes that fit and are something I’m not embarrassed to wear out of the house. Here’s what I got – I really like them.

The last time I bought myself a pair of shoes. Hmm, thinking….thinking….I think it was last fall. I had to replace my 5+ year old walking shoes and I bought some cute suede flats too. Oh, no wait, the last pair I bought was this spring. Old Navy flip flops, $5.

Those shoes are too cute!
I don’t buy shoes as often as I used to but this summer my husband made me buy some big bulky “hiking shoes” because I needed something with better arch support, blah blah blah. It took me awhile to get used to them but I really do like them a lot, even if they aren’t the cutest shoes on the block. I wear them anytime I think I might be walking for longer than 30 minutes.

I bought myself shoes in March. I was in TN and all I had was my flip-flops. My feet were freezing and we had to go to Walmart so I could pick some up. They were $9.99 slip-ons and I still have them.

I think I bought my last pair of shoes (not counting flip-flops) in April 2007. I was pregnant with my little guy and could not find any shoes that fit for my grandfathers funeral. That reminds me that I need to get new sneakers ASAP.

Those are really cute shoes. I have feet issues and can’t wear all the cute stuff. I usually wear walking shoes with good support. The last time I bought a pair for myself was two years ago, and I need to get a new pair.
Thanks for stopping by today. I can write pretty well with my left hand, but not equally as well as my right hand. That’s a pretty unique talent. And I just thought of one that I should have used. I can read upside down! It’s a skill I picked up working on the teller line. Darn, I wish I thought of it sooner.

i’m not a fashionista or one that goes ga-ga over shoes, but i have a good amount of shoes. i just (last week) bought myself a pair of black casual shoes because my other ones were a couple of years old and the squeaked. i’m still looking for a comfortable brown pair.

Hmmm…I used to work at Nodstrom, before the baby, so maybe around 2 years ago. Wow! I never actually thought about it. LOL I couldn’t wear shoes, swelling from pregnancy, so I wore Uggs all the time.

OH how embarrassing.. I think the last time I bought shoes if you call them that was over a year ago when I was pregnant I bought some crocs hahahaha Ugly but comfortable shoes!!

A few months ago I bought malindi silver Crocs. I love Crocs because they are comfortable and stylish.

Fun question! I bought a pair of awesome black boots for myself at the end of winter last year. I never got to wear them, so it will be like having a brand new pair this year!
