Whatever that specifically means, I’m not actually sure. But I’m looking forward to finding out, as I will be spending most of the weekend away at the first ever Gleek Retreat – a blogging conference. Not just any blogging conference either – this one is practically in my very own backyard, only about 30 minutes [...] So my oldest daughter turned nine years old a couple of weeks ago – on April 3rd, to be exact. Life’s been so busy since then that I haven’t had a chance to post much about her big day – or even really to think about it much and let it sink in that Abby [...] Today is Becca’s birthday! And yes, it’s another birthday, another Thursday and that means another Thursday 13 list update of what Becca’s been up to lately and how she’s doing. And again I figured that it would make a perfect Thursday 13 list as well, with the absolute most popular (most viewed, according to Google Analytics) post from the entire year as #13. You start longing to go to soccer practice, the library, or anywhere other than the living room couch. Three-year-olds put in more hours playing computer games on Nickjr.com in three days than [...] Yes, I know – I’m taking the ‘easy way out’ and just throwing a whole bunch of updates in here all together. That’s what 24+ hours without internet gets you. I haven’t even had a chance to pull photos off of the camera, much less upload and edit them. And all of a sudden, I realize that we’ve done very few of the things that I so optimistically thought we could do back in June, when the summer days stretched out [...] I think that the last time I was anywhere close to this tired was probably last year right around this time.
