With both Abby and Hannah in school full days now, I am left with only one child at home to focus my camera lens on all day long – except for preschool days, of course. Then, I’m on my own. And loving it.
But since I’m trying to learn more about how my camera works and how to take better photos with it (thanks to the free course from Creative Techs!), my camera will be turned on Becca quite often, simply by default.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she’s a rather cute subject, at least most of the time. Or that she has quite an expressive face – as evidenced by many of the photos that I took the other day at the park, as I practiced figuring out the best ISO and shutter speeds for a bright sunny day.

Don’t be too impressed by these rather clear, blur-free photos of Becca on the slide – it wasn’t exactly my stellar camera skills, but the fact that she was inching her way down at an extremely slow pace, lol.
I like to call this next (long) series of photos – the MANY expressions of Little Miss Becca…
So after all of those photos, I did end up with three that I am absolutely thrilled with. And yes, one of them actually doesn’t even involve Becca! I thought this view of the leaves starting to change colors, as taken through the middle of the curly slides, was rather interesting…
But my two favorites are this one:
I just wish it hadn’t turned out so blurry…
and this one (my ‘Best Shot’):
So yes, you can expect to see many more photos of Becca coming up in the future – but don’t worry, I won’t inundate you with them like this again.
At least not very often.
Maybe.
